General Questions

We welcome students of all ages! Our youngest learners start around age 4, and we have many adult students as well. Lessons are tailored to be age-appropriate and engaging for each individual.

Not at all! We welcome complete beginners as well as those with experience. Our lessons are personalized to meet you where you are and help you grow from there.

Open Studio DSM is a home studio. The exact address will be provided when you book your first lesson. We're located in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood with easy parking.

Lessons & Booking

You can book a lesson through our Book Now page. Simply fill out the form with your preferred date, time, and lesson type, and we'll confirm your booking within 24 hours.

Just bring yourself and your creativity! All materials and supplies are provided. We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy, especially for painting sessions.

Lesson lengths vary by type: Music & Movement sessions are 45 minutes, most art and craft lessons are 60 minutes, and painting sessions are typically 90 minutes. Private sessions can be customized to your needs.

Yes! We offer small group lessons (2-4 students) which are a great way to learn with friends or family. We also host special group events for birthdays and celebrations. Contact us for group booking details.

Policies

We understand that life happens! Please provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments (Venmo, PayPal). Payment is due at the time of the lesson unless you've purchased a lesson package.

Yes! We offer discounted lesson packages for those who want to commit to regular sessions. Ask about our 5-lesson and 10-lesson packages for savings. We also offer sibling discounts for families.
